Robert has a diverse background in non-profit management, business management, and consulting. Before joining NEBC, Robert ran Stirling Power, which focused on renewable energy projects using waste gas from landfills and wastewater treatment plants. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as a business consultant doing research and business planning for a wide variety of clients, ranging from utilities and government agencies, to technology startups and non-profits – first with Seattle-based O’Neill & Company, and then under his own firm. Earlier, he managed special projects for a PacifiCorp subsidiary and the Port of Portland. He began his eclectic business career running a natural foods store in rural Oregon. Robert graduated from Reed College with a degree in Psychology, and earned a Certified Management Consultant designation from the Institute of Management Consultants. In his off-hours, he can be found working on the horse property that he shares with his wife Vera in Corbett, OR. He is also active in local community affairs and writes poetry. |

Sue Moir, NEBC Program Manager, manages NEBC events, membership development and member support. She plans and executes the conferences, trade shows and chapter activities including the monthly technical luncheons, networking mixers and golf tournament. Sue is well known as the one who sends all the event notices and other communications. Sue’s background and experience in non-profit management, environmental advocacy, volunteer management and event planning dove-tailed with the job of NEBC Program Manager, a constantly changing mix of event planning and membership relations. A graduate of the University of Arizona with an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Sue moved to Portland in 1996 to pursue her interest in glass blowing and bead making. On her off hours Sue can be found paddling her sea kayak throughout the waters of the Pacific Northwest, blowing glass, creating art or walking the trails around town training for her next marathon. |

Linda has been part of the NEBC team since January 2000 as the Office Manager and is somewhat of the “NEBC historian”. Linda manages a variety of general office activities including database management, financial and membership record keeping and general program support. She also assists in event coordination, accounts payable/receivable tracking, and various other tasks as-needed. Linda is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing and spent time living in New York City and Chicago, before moving to Portland to pursue a greener lifestyle. Linda likes to spend her spare time snowboarding, going to live concerts and festivals, and perfecting her fire-spinning and hula hooping techniques. |

Tyler Cluverius manages NEBC’s Seattle office and focuses on member relations and program activities. He comes to NEBC with a diverse professional background that includes experience in higher education, trade association management, and environmental advocacy. Before joining NEBC, Tyler served as the Director of Outreach & Development at the Wild Fish Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to the recovery and conservation of the Northwest’s wild-fish ecosystems. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at the Grocery Manufacturers Association in Washington, DC where he developed and managed a variety of conferences, workshops, and other projects for executives from member companies. Before the Grocery Manufacturers Association, Tyler held several positions at the American Society for Engineering Education including Program Manager and Continuing Education Manager. Tyler holds a BA in History from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MA in Irish Studies from The Catholic University of America. He also studied at the National University of Ireland’s Institute for Public Administration. Tyler is an avid fly fisherman and lives with his wife and Jack Russell Terrier in Seattle. | |
