Are Things Getting Better Yet?
…asking members “how is your company doing…really.” And what I hear is a conflicting mix of impressions. As a result, I have coined a new term to characterize the current business climate: nervous optimism. For the most part, companies have “found the bottom,” adjusted their staffing levels, and are riding things out.
Overall, there is a positive tint to the picture. Among NEBC members, most companies are getting by, and many are doing quite well.
