Goals - Strengthen the energy industry sector in the Northwest - Create business opportunities for sector members
Activities 1. Market & Business Development - Develop vehicles to connect providers to customers and each other - Pursue opportunities to create visibility for the energy sector 2. Education & Information - Provide an information and communications hub - Offer workshops and conferences 3. Regulatory & Legislative Action - Track and participate in ongoing initiatives - Provide facts to support policy positions - Collaborate, but lead when necessary
Principles - The Energy Forum is hosted by NEBC but is open to participation by all. - The Forum is by and for those working in the energy sector. - We acknowledge all forms of energy and the ongoing transition of skills from old to new forms (e.g., from traditional fuels to renewables).
Get Connected Sign up for the Energy Forum listserv
The Energy Forum is currently comprised of two groups, one focused on Washington, and the other focused on Oregon, Each has a listserv to provide a way for Forum members to communicate with each other and to receive relevant notices and news items.
To subscribe to one or both lists, send your contact information to: - For the Washington Energy Forum listserv: tyler@nebc.org - For the Oregon Energy Forum listserv: robert@nebc.org
Once you are a subscriber, to send a note to your subscribed list, simply send an email to either EnergyWa@lists.onenw.org or EnergyOR@lists.onenw.org as appropriate (you must send from your subscribed email address to be accepted).
Your message will be sent to everyone on the list, so be judicious as to what you send (and no blatantly commercial messages please). To resond to a post, take a second to think whether you need to respond to the entire list by sending a new email, or whether it is sufficient to just respond to the sender. We want to strike a balance between communications and clutter.
