Cleaning Up Stormwater
Tightened regulatory standards governing stormwater runoff are creating a strong market for both passive and active treatment solutions. Our speakers will address the challenges and technologies associated with cleaning up stormwater before it reaches our water bodies. The discussion will be followed by a tour of the OSU-Benton County Green Stormwater Infrastructure Research Facility located at the Avery Ave. site.

Industrial Wasterwater Treatment
Our speakers will address the challenges and technologies associated with on-site treatment of industrial wastewater before it is discharged into sewer systems or to water bodies. This process is motivated by permit requirements and by sewer system “extra strength” charges for high levels of organics and suspended solids.
